Saw this on Dave Barry’s blog — apparently in Serbia, they sure know how to throw a wedding!

Wow. Considering you usually see that sort of behavior in the Middle East and other relatively primitive societies, it does not say good things about our friends in Beograd.
Fortunately I met nobody like that in Croatia, though several had some fairly hair-raising horror stories from the war.
