Dance Dance Navy

Posted on Tuesday, March 9, 2004

It’s good to see that the Japanese Navy (sorry, “Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force”) doesn’t look nearly as threatening these days as it did in, say, 1940.

Somewhere, Isoruku Yamamoto is looking on in disbelief…

Sound Off, Loudmouth!

Sandy says:

Nice torpedoes there, sea man.
A-huh-huh-huh.

Joe says:

You would be dancing to if you have quietly built the second most powerful naval force in the Pacific, if not the planet (yes, there is a very big drop off between The U.S. Navy and the rest of the world, but I’m pretty sure the Japanese fleet has more Destroyer sized ships than the Royal Navy, and many of them are AEGIS equiped). This is a good thing, since we’ll need all the help we can get when the Chinese come after us.
