A brief personal note here.

As of December 5, I’m not going to be with my current employer, Oceana, anymore. I have had a great time working with all the talented people there, but I’ve accepted an offer from (DIA) to join their team as Chief Operating Officer. In this role I will be directing their product development and managing relationships with many of their clients.

DIA is a small organization that has been making a big noise in the online activism space. Their tools are among the most affordable and innovative out there. I’m looking forward to helping them continue to grow and develop tools that redefine people’s expectations for online activism.

Just don’t do what PFAW (People For the American Way) did to lose me… they keep calling for action, instead of just giving me the facts and some links, and then a possible call for action.
Good luck in the new job!

That is fantastic news for the entire sector! Congrats on a great move… I’ll look forward to seeing the next generation of their great tools.
Just make sure you steer clear of the OneBigDatabase(tm)!

Congratulations. There are some great folks at DIA (I met Chris last spring and was very impressed) and some big challenges. Good luck!
